Kostas Mougklolias, climber and climbing trainer certified by the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing, created 26 climbing routes on this location.

‘Panagia Krifti’, less than 10 kilometers from Plomari, is a wonderful natural place with big rock faces and mountain sides with olive trees. The limestone rock we use is 30 meters high and is located 200m above sea level. In the past the place was used for extracting talc and marbles.

The climbing walls contain horizontal edges, holes and small cracks. The routes start on the edge, which offers spectacular views of the Archipelagos.

With the rock climbing you can listen to your body, you can feel every movement of your arms and legs, you can feel the connection with the rock and you are living strong every moment!!!

At sea level there are curved bays that can hide any number of pirates, a small pool with thermal spring water and a picturesque little church, which offer a fantastic way to end a day of climbing!!!

We end our adventure in a traditional taverna at Melinta beach with a beautiful lunch: fresh fish, Greek salad and ouzo.
